Week 2: Day 1 - Exercise Demos

DISCLAIMER: During the suitcase deadlift, the number one rule for safety is to maintain a neutral spine and not round the back. If this cannot be done while keeping the hips high it is best to squat down further and pull the chest up. The form shown in the video is standard narrow-stance deadlifting form. However, if a person cannot maintain a neutral spine in this set up, squatting down further to pull the chest up is pivotal. If you struggle performing this with proper form do not attempt under load until proper technique without weight can be achieved.
